The Realest "Thanksgiving" Message

As one who KNOWS God's view of America (Baal and Nasty Lavender) and her "covered" evils, I make it known that I know NOTHING of her goodness, nor will celebrate what SHE puts forth, even while I break off a turkey leg, eat and enjoy family.

This morning, I saw posts and videos with titles like "Native Americans hold a National Day of Mourning every Thanksgiving" and "Native Americans Don't Celebrate Genocide". And my heart was moved in righteousness.

Should I as a Kingdom of God man not weep with those who weep? (Romans 12:15)

Should I as a black man celebrate the holiday tradition of a country that hates righteousness?

Do Natives mourn with us what happened to OUR ancestors on their land? Should that affect what I do and how I feel?

Is it wrong to eat and give thanks on this day?

What do I owe America? And who is America to me (a child of God)?

Should I ignore history for tradition?

Everyone has a different view of history, what happened, to whom, why, whether or not it was justified, and what should be done about it.  ON this day, there is so much conflict, because there are so many things to be said. It's a time to get off from work, spend time with family, and enjoy each other. I'm spending  this "Red Thursday" with my Dad. And as we prepare to eat together, we are worshipping, fellowshipping, and talking The Word of God.

What exactly are you giving thanks for? And to whom? If you're giving thanks to God, for what? For forgiving your sin, unrighteousness, evil, and iniquity THAT YOU HAVE REPENTED OF?👀 For giving you grace and His righteousness to live it out? 👀 Because if not, you must certainly be deluded by the smell of the turkey in the oven. If you're not giving GOD thanks, then to whom are you giving thanks?

What my heart is CERTAIN of is that God is going to punish the ungodly for their ungodly deeds, regardless of traditions, feelings, thoughts, heritage, culture, etc. Every act of unrighteousness, sin, evil, and iniquity that is NOT repented of, and given to The Lord Yeshua, who paid for it, will be requited.

And God does NOT give a single FUCK how you view, perceive, or calculate what you think happened and how it should be recompensed. I would #GoAskGod how HE feels about what happened on this land to whom, by whom, and what He is going to do about it. And when it happens, you gon take it and shut the fuck up, knowing --- or choosing NOT to know--- that RIGHTEOUSNESS is the only thing that God looks upon favorably, and that the GRACE He has given us through His Son (if you even acknowledge Him) is to help us align and walk in that God-given righteousness and love for one another.

So while you choose to ignore the cry of the Natives, think their view of history is suspect, want to continue in your own traditions and feasts, we have the freedom to do so. But while you're "giving thanks" in "prayer," pray that your heart is right with God, not assuming, because when God recompenses evil (you don't believe occurred 🙄), your "good hearts" will simply worship and thank God for doing HIS perfect will you were already seeking, RIGHT? 😊

Please know that America has a history of shedding blood and then stepping over it like nothing happened... UNLESS it will allow for people to glory in her.

"And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality." Colossians 3:23‭-‬25

“Now, therefore,” says the Lord, “Turn to Me with all your heart, With fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” Joel 2:12

On this day, I'm MOST thankful that GOD has given US truth and righteousness in the counsel of His Word and By His Spirit, in which I KNOW that His judgments will be carried out, sparing only the repentant and righteous in His mercy by HIS SON, The Lord Yeshua Who, holding the scepter of authority, power, and judgment will not spare the ungodly and unrepentant. So while I'm not trying to make this day one of gloom, we're not going to act like there isn't a reason FOR SOMEONE to see it as such--- The Natives... AND GOD.

The Kingdom of God is taking over this day. So on this "Thanksgiving," let this be a wake-up call that is not just about what you WANT to give thanks for, but what and how you should. It's about loving your neighbor as you love yourself. It's about truth, righteousness, peace, and joy in The Lord, manifesting the fruit of The Spirit. God doesn't just want your "thanks"; He wants your HEART! Not just on ONE day, but every day.

Now... pass the [bloody] peas... like we used to do.
