Why Are People "Leaving" "The Church"?
Let's address The Elephant In The Room... by himself... because many churches have pushed the people out.
Christians, you ever sit in a restaurant waiting on your food for so long, you get up and leave?
Ok, same reason my many are leaving the Church.
Churches, you ever stop going to a restaurant because the food is trash?
Ok, same reason my many are leaving the Church.
Pastors, you ever seen some sanitary issues in the restaurant that made you question whether or not you should eat there at all?
Ok, same reason my many are leaving the Church.
Christians, you ever order something from a restaurant that they are KNOWN for serving, but they ran out of that MAIN thing?
Ok, same reason my many are leaving the Church.
Pastors, you ever go a particular restaurant for ice cream, and the ice cream machine NEVER works?
Ok, same reason my many are leaving the Church.
Why are people leaving Church?
Because you're serving them CHURCH (and your version of it.) If I go to a fried chicken restaurant, I expect, ya know, FRIED CHICKEN to be on the menu. You made people believe church attendance is about worship. It ain't. It's about corporate fellowship, and teaching people HOW to worship God and live for God when they are NOT at that dry-ass building. You make people believe that the Church is "God's House". Well, if it is, it must be a house He's renting out to someone else because the Bible says...
“...the Most High does NOT dwell in temples made with hands, as the prophet says: Acts 7:48
“God, who made the world and everything in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands. Nor is He worshiped with men’s hands, as though He needed anything, since He gives to all life." breath, and all things. Acts 17:24,25
But see the "business" can't profit without gullible "customers"--- and that's what you've made them.
Truly, many churches actually do great service to the community. But if you're not giving them THE TRUTH, The power of the Holy Ghost, The counsel of the Holy Ghost, the kingdom of God Preaching, then you're not giving them what God wants them to have.
You made the buildings more important than the "food". You demand money, and manipulate people into building, and make slaves of them via trickery using the Word of God, causing them to either fearfully comply with your false authorative orders or resist the Word of God altogether.
The FOOD is the Holy Spirit, drizzled with love, life, peace, joy, and liberty IN HIM, the power OF HIM, worship BY Him, through FAITH in The Lord Yeshua. But YOU made it about Church. When I figured out that The Holy Spirit and STRICT attention to truth and growth in Him was not the M.O. of many churches... When I figured out that people were more enamored by programs and entertainment on one end, and dry Spirit-less, truth-dodging, judgmental, prayerless unexperiential theology and theological debates on the other end, I, by instruction of the Holy Ghost, chucked the deuce to all of it, and sought to grow in the Word of God, and the Spirit of God IN TRUTH, seeking fellowship with others who desire the same. By the way, THAT'S Church. Church is not WHERE you GO, but WHO you GO WITH--- Jesus and those who also believe in Him.
So I NEVER LEFT The Church; I RIGHT the Church. I never left the Church; I left what they were calling Church. The Church of Christ is only built BY CHRIST. It ain't a building; it's a people. Plain and simple. And God's people move about daily seeking how we can invite souls into the Kingdom of God. This religious perversion of truth, righteousness, and freedom is pleasing to Rome (governments who see nothing wrong with people who COMPLY with their unrighteous deeds). But the true Church ain't sittin' around making pawns for their "order", while we "wait for Jesus to come back." We came to establish The Kingdom of God NOW, because the Holy Spirit is HERE NOW, and His power is accessible NOW.
Now, here's what I'm NOT doing. I'm not telling you to leave your "churches." I'm telling you, you had better be seeking The Word and growth in the Spirit more than you are them buildings. You had better be seeking God INDIVIDUALLY AND PERSONALLY about what you receive from them. You had better be desiring the gifts of the Spirit, like the Bible says to do. This grab-bag, a la carte style of "worship" is gon get you "caught up"--- and not in the Rapture/Harpazo that many already DON'T believe in.
To those who left churches, if you didn't go DEEPER into your study of the Bible, worship of God, seeking of Jesus, and seeking and utilization of power in the Holy Ghost, you're going in the wrong direction, and Satan's plan worked.
Nah! I walked out because I DO read the Bible. I do trust in God. I do walk in the Spirit. I do test the spirits to see whether they be of God. I do believe in the power of His resurrection. I do have ears to hear what the Spirit says to the Churches. I do believe in the growth in the fruit of the Spirit, while seeking for and moving in the power and gifts of the Spirit. All of this is ABOUT The Lord Yeshua and ABOUT moving by His Spirit who is in all of us who believe.
Some pastors teach like this is about a King and His unworthy peasants. That's not the Word of God. THIS FAITH is about a King who powerfully leads His Royal Priesthood, the powerfully led Children of God. And that's how I live my life, and preach to people. Church buildings... are NOT the Kingdom of God. Church attendance... is NOT the Kingdom of God.
Church tradition... is NOT the Kingdom of God. Man-made religious rules... are NOT the Kingdom of God. WHEREVER you show up to fellowship with others to the Lord Yeshua, do so in spirit and in truth.
